The online legal consultation includes:
- Analysis of the situation described
- Applicable legal framework
- Identification of the next steps to consider
It does not include follow-up of an ongoing case, the drafting of documents, or representation in court, which are the subject of a separate proposal, presented after the consultation. It also does not cover questions whose answer depends on in-person analysis of documents or on the personal intervention of a lawyer. For those cases, the route is direct contact with the office.

Who Answers the Online Legal Consultation
The Firm was founded in January 2011 and remains in Porto, in Edifício Scala, on Rua de Vilar. We act throughout Portugal.
Each consultation has a Responsible Lawyer, identified from the first contact. That is who you speak to, and who signs the opinion when the answer is provided in writing.

Yes. The consultation can be provided by video call or by written opinion. The format is agreed after the question is received, depending on what it requires, and is stated in the confirmation email.
How much does an online lawyer consultation cost?
It depends on the scope of the question. The fee is communicated by email, within 24 business hours, before any payment, and only proceeds once confirmed by you.
How soon do I receive the answer?
The confirmation stating the fee arrives within 24 business hours. The consultation takes place once payment is confirmed, in the agreed format.
What if my case requires proceedings?
The online legal consultation does not cover the follow-up of cases. When the analysis shows that the case requires representation or the preparation of documents, this is the subject of a separate proposal, presented after the consultation.
Can I request an online legal consultation from abroad?
Yes. It is one of the reasons it exists. We assist clients from abroad, in Portuguese and in English, with no need to travel to the office.
Does the online legal consultation work for any subject?
No. Questions whose answer depends on in-person analysis of documents or on the personal intervention of a lawyer are excluded. In those cases, the route is direct contact with the Firm.
